What Exactly Is SEER?
Air conditioners and heat pumps are assigned a SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) rating tied to how efficiently they cool. The higher the SEER2, the less electricity the system uses to deliver the same comfort. When rates rise, a more efficient unit is one of the clearest ways to keep your bills in check.
