Our Process

Professional Air Duct & Dryer Vent Cleaning in Minneapolis & St. Paul

Removing contaminants is the first step to a healthier home. A full-system air duct cleaning benefits everyone who lives there and improves how your HVAC system performs. Here's exactly how we do it.

The “Source Removal” Method

Our Air Duct Cleaning Process

Source Removal is the industry's most trusted duct-cleaning process. Every home's ductwork is a little different, so we curate each job with the right tools for the best results.

1

Mask & Isolate the Vents

Our techs begin by masking your vents so each side of the system is isolated, that maximizes airflow through our negative-air machine.

2

Create (or Reuse) Access Points

We create access holes in the return and supply trunk lines to insert our agitation tools, reusing existing access holes where they exist. Every hole is patched and sealed airtight when the job is complete.

3

Agitate With High-Pressure Air

We clean the ventilation system with a high-pressure air hose (125–175 psi) and agitation tools, air whips, directional nozzles, and rotary brush systems, driving dust and debris toward the trunk lines.

4

Extract With a HEPA Vacuum

Loosened contaminants are directed to the access points and pulled out of your home through our powerful HEPA vacuum, which moves air and debris at 12,500 CFM and returns clean, odor-free air to your home.

5

Air-Wash the Whole System

The furnace housing, return drop, blower wheel, A-coils, and filter compartment are all air-washed, not just the vents you can see.

6

Re-Seal to NADCA Standards

Once your system is cleaned and approved, it's re-sealed per NADCA standards. Ask about our SEAL-A-DOOR, a handy every-season accessory that keeps weather and pests out and heat, AC, kids, and pets in.

We stay current on all the training and certifications needed to give your HVAC system the best possible cleaning. For an extra boost, ask about system fogging to sanitize your ductwork after cleaning.

Why It Matters

Benefits of Regular Air Duct Cleaning

Improved Indoor Air Quality

Blocked ducts recirculate dust, allergens, and pollutants. Regular cleaning keeps your home's air clean and healthy.

Enhanced HVAC Efficiency

Clogged ducts force your system to work harder. Clean ducts improve efficiency and reduce utility costs.

Prolonged HVAC Lifespan

Removing restrictions on airflow prevents excessive wear and tear, extending the life of your system.

Reduced Allergy & Asthma Symptoms

Clean ducts cut the allergens and irritants circulating in your air, helping ease symptoms for your family.

Eliminated Odors

Accumulated dust and debris cause musty smells. Cleaning removes the source and freshens your home.
